Rocket League: Micro DLC

Hey Doods!

So you all probably know about the Micro DLC Black Ops III has been putting in? Welp, Rocket League is so much better than Black Ops at this stuff. So far they've only put in different cars that don't mess with gameplay and just are a different look than your average car. So far the only one I've seen are the Delorean from Back To The Future, and the Batmobile from Batman vs Superman. These are not game changing at all and I think that Activision should follow in Rocket League's footsteps and do things like they did in Black Ops II. Because to be honest, just about everybody liked it in Black Ops II when you got the Peacekeeper for free if you had the DLC or the Season Pass. I think that it should go back to that. Anyway's I think that Rocket League has Announced that they are bringing out the Armadillo from Gears of War, and the WartHog from Halo. But don't quote me on this because the only way I know about the Armadillo and Warthog being in there is because I look for pictures to put at the bottom of every post nowadays and I just happened to stumble across this thing. Anyway's, don't quote me on this, except for the Batmobile and the Delorean. Oh yeah, and I forgot to include that you can be Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, on the PS4 only! This is just going to influence the console wars...

Anyway's I'm gonna go now, I just wanted to make a post about Rocket League's Micro DLC and how it's actually better than some of the BO3 DLC. I'm gonna go now though, Bye!

Uncharted 2: Game Review

Hey Doods!

This game is a little old and I haven't played Uncharted at all so I thought I would make a game review about the second one called, Among Thieves. I think that it's a pretty good game so far. Anyway's I'm gonna start saying what's good about it.

So this game takes place in modern day where you are a person named Nathan Drake, you are a thief and a history nut. You can understand and read fluent ancient languages and you like to hunt for ancient artifacts that are worth millions. You try to track down a gem that is so big that a man couldn't hug the thing. It's worth hundreds and millions of dollars, but you get double crossed by your partner in crime who is after the gem. He tries to get you killed, landing you with three months in jail, only for one of your colleagues to pay for you to get out. That's all I'm going to say about the storyline because that's sort of the tutorial in itself.

So now let's talk gameplay mechanics. It had a very Assassin's Creed like movement system and you can't jump up everything you see, there are more frequent ladders though, so it's easier to get around the place. The graphics are pretty good for it being an old generation game, the storyline is pretty good and it's like a mix between, Assassin's Creed, Ghost recon, Tomb Raider, and a puzzle game all at once. There also is a spot where you can find an MP-40 which I thought was pretty cool.

All and all though I would give this game a solid 8.5/t0, and I say 8.5 because of the movement system. It's as hard to control as Assassin's Creed. Granted you get used to it, but it's still kind of annoying.

Anyway's that's all I'm going to put into this game for now, I'm really excited for Uncharted 4. I'll make an Uncharted 3 review when I play the game but for now I'm gonna go! Bye!

Rocket League: Tips & Tricks #2

Hey Doods!

Sorry, I didn't post the first one before this one because I didn't know how to use the stupid schedule thing, but anyway's, we've been doing CMAS or whatever the test is called now, and I haven't had access to WiFi until a couple of minutes ago, as of making this, I'm just editing it to fit the current situation. Anyway's I have a couple of more tricks and tips for Rocket League that could help you become a better player.

The first tip is party up. If you have any friends that have Rocket League, then tell them to come into a party with you so that you can coordinate your plays a lot easier than playing with randoms. A little example of this is that I was playing Rocket League with my friend and it was the first time either of us played with a friend. We coordinated our plays so well that we made half of the teams we faced quit because we did things like set up each other's shots, at some point I rolled the ball around the corner and it went directly in front of the goal and my friend hit it in. Another is that, I cleared the ball and was constantly ramming it so that it was about to go into the goal. A person on the other team was about to clear it and my friend hit him out of the way just in time for us to score! So my first tip is, Party Up.

My second tip, is try to complete all of the training sessions if your bored of playing online. They can prove to be helpful. And if you ace it on one level, then you can try it on the next difficulty. They are extremely useful in increasing skill in things like, being goalie, and performing aerials. And other things but I forgot the rest.

My last tip for this is, don't play to be competitive, even though it can be fun, be a good sport at the end. Because you'll just ruin the other players game if you blame the other team scoring on your goal whenever you were the one who "accidentally" hit it in. So the moral of this is don't be a jerk and play to have fun.

Anyway's that's the end of this little Tips & Tricks post, I might do another one but I honestly don't know what I'd put, I'd probably just do repeats so this might be the last tips/tricks thing for Rocket League. Again sorry about posting this before the first one, my mistake. But if they come out with a new mode, I'll try it out and maybe do another one, but until then, Bye!

Rocket League: Tips & Tricks

Hey Doods!

So I've been playing Rocket League, and I believe I have enough experience in the game to put a few tips and tricks onto the blog.

The first tip is during the first part, called the kickoff. You have to use all of your boost and hit the ball into the other team's side. A little thing to get a little more speed is that the moment that you run out of boost, double tap a or x (depending on what console) or whatever the jump button is, and do a front flip, it'll guarantee you the first touch unless someone on the other team does it too.

Another tip is that, don't be afraid to hit the ball off the wall to get it to where you want to go. I never see anybody bounce it off the wall and it's a good strategy for either some really cool goals, or some great clears! The reason why is because it'll rebound off the wall depending on what angle you hit it from.

I think this is the last tip/trick I'll put in here for now. Anyway's the last tip is for the offensive players, you can get an easy goal if you run the ball on one of the corners, make it fall above the goal. From there either the other team can "accidentally" hit it in or you/team person can hit it in from there. It's an easy shot after you run it up the wall.

These are just a few tips, they're probably crappy tips but it's all I got for now, I might do one with better tips in a couple days but you never know, Anyway's I'm gonna head out now! Bye!
( I accidentally published the other one before this one, the next one will come out tomorrow! Sorry! I didn't know how to use the stupid schedule tab thingy!)
